Design Sprint

Rapid idea validation

The Google Design Sprint is an intensive, five-day workshop process that helps teams rapidly test ideas and solve key product challenges. With a clearly defined structure—from problem definition, through idea generation, to prototyping and user testing—organizations can quickly validate their assumptions without committing extensive resources to a full product development cycle.

This method is effective for both new initiatives and optimizing existing products, replacing lengthy discussions with practical decisions based on real data. The Design Sprint engages the entire team, fosters innovation, and focuses on users, significantly increasing the chances of creating effective and valuable solutions.

How does it work in practice?

Each stage of the Design Sprint is based on thoughtful exercises that help the team make quick yet informed decisions.Problem Mapping identifies key challenges and sets priorities. During the Sketching phase, participants develop potential solutions, which are then discussed and refined. In the Decision-Making phase, the team selects the best concepts leading to prototyping. The final stage, Testing, provides user feedback to refine solutions before implementation. All exercises engage participants and allow for rapid transformation of ideas into concrete actions.

The final outcome is a set of specific recommendations and visualization of key product functionalities. The process enables the team to make swift decisions and minimize risk before full implementation, ensuring solutions tailored to real user needs and market demands.

Design Sprint step by step

Preparation

Contact us to schedule a meeting—online or in person—to better understand your needs and expectations. We’ll discuss key challenges and goals you aim to achieve.

After the discussion, we’ll plan a workshop tailored to your organization, considering the team’s specifics, available resources, and expected outcomes.

Duration and participants

Workshops typically last from 3 to 5 days, with each working day comprising approximately 6.5–7 hours of intensive work. The optimal group size is 6–10 participants, selected by the client based on their knowledge of the discussed topics and their role in making project and organizational decisions.

Workshop outcomes

During the sprint, the team will:

  • Identify key challenges—determine user problems and business priorities that need addressing.
  • Generate and verify ideas—analyze various concepts and choose the most promising solutions.
  • Build a prototype—create a simplified version of the product to quickly test assumptions.
  • Test the solution with users—collect valuable feedback to assess concept effectiveness and identify necessary improvements.

The sprint’s final result is not only a validated prototype but also a deeper understanding of user needs, implementation risks, and a strategy for further product development. This enables the organization to make informed decisions, minimizing time and costs associated with inefficient iterations.

After the workshops

You’ll receive a detailed report containing recommendations for your offering, proposals for new actions, and key insights developed during the workshops. This document will serve as a solid foundation for further development of your institution.

Together, we’ll discuss the report and plan the next steps—be it expansion, modification of the offering, or implementation of new ideas. If you decide to continue collaborating, we’ll gladly support you in executing actions, assisting in planning and creating workshops, exhibitions, or events resulting from our joint arrangements.
